Notify us of an issue
If something on Brush & Tell doesn't look right, email us at info@brushandtell.com and tell us what you found, with a link to the listing or profile if there is one. A person reads every message, and we'll get back to you. Choose a topic below to see what to include.
An order that hasn't arrived
Your Orders page shows when the artist has shipped your piece, with the carrier and the tracking number. Artists are required to ship within five business days of your order; if yours hasn't shipped by then, we'll let you know, and you can choose to keep waiting or cancel for a full refund. If it shipped but hasn't arrived, email us at info@brushandtell.com right away with your order details, and we'll look into it with the carrier. If it's lost in transit, you'll get a full refund, shipping included.
A piece that arrived damaged, or that you'd like to return
If your piece arrived damaged or isn't what the listing described, email us at info@brushandtell.com within 48 hours of receiving it, with photos of the artwork and its packaging, and keep the packaging until we reply. If we confirm the problem, we'll arrange the return at no cost to you and refund everything you paid, shipping included. If you've simply changed your mind, you can return a piece you bought at a fixed price for any reason within seven days of delivery: email us and we'll send return instructions. Return shipping is yours to cover, and the original shipping charge isn't refunded.
A listing or profile that breaks our rules
If a listing or an artist's profile looks fraudulent, misleading, offensive or otherwise against our Terms of Service, email us at info@brushandtell.com with a link to it and a few words on what's wrong. We review every report, and we can remove content or suspend an account that breaks our rules.
Your artwork used without permission
If you own the copyright in an image or artwork shown on Brush & Tell without your permission, send a notice to our copyright agent at info@brushandtell.com. Section 13.3 of our Terms of Service lists what the notice needs to include and our agent's mailing address.
Private images shared without consent
If an intimate image of you was posted on Brush & Tell without your consent, you, or someone authorized to act for you, can ask us to remove it under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act by emailing info@brushandtell.com. Tell us where the image is (a link is best), say that you believe in good faith it was posted without your consent and add anything that helps us confirm that, include how we can reach you, and sign with your full name. We'll reply with a request number, remove the image as soon as we can and no later than 48 hours after we receive your complete request, and remove any identical copies we find on Brush & Tell. If anything's missing from your request, we'll tell you what within 48 hours.
